Every Silly Robot card and embroidered t-shirt is produced to order. We can only accept returns when an item arrives damaged or defective, or where we are responsible for a personalization mistake.

Personalisation Errors

We want your custom card to arrive exactly how you imagined it. Here is how we handle mistakes.

  • Our responsibility: If there is a personalisation error clearly attributable to Silly Robot Cards (for example, printing defects or layout issues), we will replace the card at no extra cost. Please notify us within 14 days of delivery.
  • Customer responsibility: Double-check spellings, names, and custom text before submitting your order. We cannot refund or replace cards when incorrect details were supplied.

Change of Mind

Because cards are produced specifically for your order, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds for change-of-mind cancellations once printing has begun.

General Terms

  1. Refund eligibility: Replacements or refunds are available only when an item is defective, damaged, or we are responsible for a personalisation mistake. Returns are not offered for customer-provided errors or preference changes.
  2. Process: Reach out via our contact form with your order number and supporting details (including photos, if possible). We will respond with next steps.
  3. Timeframe: Let us know within 14 days of receiving your order if something is not right. Once we have any requested documentation or returns, we issue approved refunds within 7 days to the original payment method.
  4. Shipping costs: Customers cover return shipping unless we confirm a defect or production error. In those cases, we will either cover reasonable return shipping or send a replacement without requiring a return.

T-Shirt Refund Terms

Our embroidered apparel follows the same made-to-order promise with a few specifics tailored for clothing.

  • No change-of-mind returns: Each garment is customised just for you, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges for sizing or preference changes.
  • Cancellation window: Need to cancel? Let us know via the contact form within 4 hours of purchase so we can pause production.
  • Defective or damaged apparel: If embroidery, print placement, or garment quality is not perfect, contact us within 14 days with supporting photos and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
  • Return shipping: Once a defect is confirmed, we will cover reasonable return shipping or provide a replacement without requiring a return.

This policy aligns with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, ensuring every product is as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
